In the official request, the representative stated that many Americans still remain to be loyal supporters of Trump and find the film very offensive. Plus, his supporters believe the film is harming US-Korea trade relations. According to the request, if the film is screened anyways, they plan to boycott the movie and sue the production company for at least $20 million in damages.
