According to Ilgan Sports, Kim Nam Gil has recently confirmed his appearance in the film Night Trip (literal title) and is coordinating last-minute details. Night Trip is a mystery thriller about what happens when a detective finds out that the case he is in charge of strangely resembles stories from a best-selling book. The film will triple the tension by depicting a story in which a detective, a best-selling author, and the victimŌĆÖs gangster brother chase after the victimŌĆÖs missing wife. For the work, Kim Nam Gil will be taking on the role of the best-selling author and reunite with Ha Jung Woo, whom he has worked with in the 2020 film The Closet. A few days ago, a media outlet reported that Ha Jung Woo, Yoo Da In, and Jung Mak Sik have been cast as the detective, the victimŌĆÖs missing wife, and the victimŌĆÖs gangster brother, respectively. With this, Kim Nam Gil will showcase a total of three films this year ŌĆō Emergency Declaration (literal title), The Protector (working title) and Night Trip. Night Trip is drawing keen attention from inside and outside the film industry in that it is Kakao MŌĆÖs first original film after the company acquired SANAI Pictures.
